Tony Dennis is Ozzy Osbourne's personal assistant and is known for his regular appearances on the reality series The Osbournes. He is also known to assist with tours and venues with Sharon Osbourne.
Role in The Osbournes[]
Tony is a man from Newcastle that prior to working for Ozzy was a fan of Black Sabbath, even meeting Ozzy for the first time when he was fourteen in 1973. Almost a decade later, Tony would meet Ozzy again and this time land a job working for him.[1]. As of 2011, Tony was still working with the Osbourne family.[2].
Tony appears in the show as Ozzy's closest and most valued assistant, often never seen without Ozzy nearby. He first appeared in Series 1, however, his appearances were limited. By Series 2 onwards, however, he made more frequent and major appearances, appearing in almost every single episode and even having a major role in some of the episodes of the show. Tony is often depicted as Ozzy's ever suffering assistant, often being a yes man who understands and goes along with Ozzy's requests, as well as, being the one who tells Ozzy what to do and what he should do. Tony also serves as Ozzy's "go to" man for advice and help.
Memorable Moments[]
In the first series, Tony reacts with shyness and embarrassment when Ozzy questions Sharon about the Merry Mayhem tour, attempting not to give away Sharon's plans to Ozzy despite his requests.
Series two saw Tony take a more major role with Tony being seen and assisting Ozzy almost every episode. Tony is present and also taking part with Ozzy when he and his son Jack went fishing, being rather successful in catching fish. Tony is also present during Ozzy's birthday run where his phone continued to go off which annoyed Ozzy. When Ozzy is told he and Sharon can't have sex for a while when she is having her cancer treatment, Ozzy jokes that he would dress Tony as a woman instead.
In Series 3, Tony is the one who tells Ozzy to not get any more jewellery when he loses his ring as well as help search for the ring. Tony also goes to England for the first time in over eight years when Ozzy and Kelly do "Top of the Pops", he is also the one to tell Ozzy that he should thank the nurse and doctors for saving his life during his ATV accident, which Ozzy get angry due to Tony telling him their names as Ozzy claims he'll just "forget". While Ozzy is recovering and left home alone, Tony helps shop with him.
In the fourth series, Tony is the one responsible for setting up and maintaining order during the family holiday to Hawaii, being the one to inform Sharon and Ozzy of Jack's friends and the prostitutes they brought with them to events. Tony also made the mistake of leaving Jack's suitcase behind before the flight and is partially responsible for leaving Jack's friends behind when they were distracted. Tony was also responsible for taking care and making sure Laura what to do and where to go in the Osbourne household. Tony is also the last Osbourne assistant to have an onscreen appearance, commenting on and greeting Phil McGraw when he came to visit in the series finale.
